"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."

ABOUT ME

I’m a psychotherapist (MCouns&PsychTh), certified Tantra Practitioner, and performing artist (actor, singer, writer).

For over 20 years, I’ve had a rich and fulfilling career in the performing arts. Music and acting have always been about diving deep into the human experience - exploring emotions, stories, and the connections that shape us. I’ve always been passionate, headstrong, and full of fire. Growing up, I felt everything deeply, sometimes to my own detriment. But those early years of searching, exploring, and stumbling through the chaos set me on a path of discovery.

At 18, I took myself to India. At 19, I went to drama school. Jump forward to 33, and I completed my master’s degree. Between it all were countless relationships, global adventures, years of study, and a lot of personal exploration. I’ve always been driven by a desire to understand myself and my experiences in the world more deeply - and to share with others what I’ve found that makes life a little easier to navigate.

Over the past decade, my exploration of Tantra - a practice often misunderstood as purely about sexuality - has been pivotal. At its core, true tantric practice is about learning to be with what is, without resistance or avoidance. In a world that is increasingly emotion-phobic and built on morbid over-consumption in order to escape feeling, I believe that by rejecting this status quo, we can return to our most natural selves and find ways to carry on living that leads to less suffering and more pleasure, beauty and autonomy.

My time in the creative arts has taught me the transformative power of vulnerability, the value of presence, and the importance of feeling emotions fully, deeply, and freely. These lessons now form the foundation of my work as a therapist.

I’m still an artist, a seeker, and a work in progress. Life is a constant process of learning, unlearning, and growing - and I’m thrilled to have you here for the journey.
