"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
— Maya Angelou

The Ember Room.
Embers are the quiet promise of transformation. They glow steadily with gentle warmth, while they also contain the power to ignite into a roaring blaze - of both delight or destruction. They exist in both the light and dark, in the in-between space of possibility.
They remind us that healing and change don’t always need to be explosive; sometimes, the most profound shifts come from nurturing the enduring warmth that eventually spark us back to life.
Or when necessary, they may burst into radiant flames, burning away what no longer serves us and clearing the way for the new. Finding and trusting the rhythm of your inner fire is the start of the journey back home to yourself.
WHY THE EMBER ROOM AS A METAPHOR FOR THERAPY?
Inner Work and Transformation: Embers burn gently beneath the surface. Change unfolds gradually, where subtle shifts can lead to profound transformation.
Resilience and Persistence: As the inner ember heat lingers, the potential of re-ignition offers hope that when it seems like the end, new beginnings can emerge.
Potential and Continuation: Even in the aftermath of hardship or challenge, there is potential for renewal, growth and healing. Just like in nature, fire clears out the old and stagnant matter in order to make room for new life to thrive.
Community: Universally, we all sit around a hearth with loved ones, long into the night while the embers stay glowing. Listening as we share stories to be seen, heard, and supported, embers sit at the heart of connection and belonging.
